About the role:
As a Lead Associate – Procurement you would be responsible to ensure on-time order placement and deliveries of raw materials, direct and helping material according to demand, services and special materials according to requests issued in accordance to the valid purchasing policy.
To ensure proper purchase order handling, KPI days on hand - raw materials is according to target. To ensure no purchase of material without use.


Your key duties and responsibilities as a Lead Associate – Procurement (Buyer II):
• To follow and act according to Quality Assurance system, budgets, general procedures, business plans, strategies and policies
• To ensure on-time purchasing of materials (raw materials, indirect and helping materials) and services
• In charge of selection of suppliers, negotiation of price and delivery conditions, issuing of purchase orders, preparation of contracts and approving of invoices in compliance with the valid purchasing policy
• Responsible for Supplier Qualification, keeping Approved Supplier List updated, participation in Monitoring of Suppliers, Annual Supplier Evaluation
• Responsible for active support of other departments with purchasing of requested commodities
• Present weekly reports of stock levels and delivery precision, stock turns and/or other issues
• Make analyses for optimizing purchases and to utilize maximum advantage of the SAP system
• Cooperation with the global sourcing department of Convatec
• Supporting R&D department with communicating requests related to changes in existing materials or implementing new materials to suppliers
• Purchase orders
• Negotiate price-/delivery terms with suppliers
• Approve invoices
• Organization of transport and support customs clearance with correct documentation
